    • Textures and Background Fills - Background fills and textures are the foundation quilting to set off appliqués, motifs, setting blocks and feathers. Let Page show you how easy it is to create new and interesting backgrounds to fit the mood of your quilt. This drawing class will provide you with step by step tricks and techniques to create your own library of fills. There will even be a few surprise uses for some old tools. A power point will showcase examples of how fills are used on actual quilts.

    • Borders – Only the Beginning - Borders can “make or break” any quilt, they are the frame that brings a quilt harmony. Page will share her many different approaches to both traditional and non-traditional borders. She will demonstrate various ways to move up, around, across and down. Never be afraid of the fancy borders again. You don’t have to settle for “EASY” they ALL become easy. Learn the tools, tricks, tips and techniques to save time as well as increase accuracy. She will also cover how to deal with wavy borders and wonky piecing, making your quilt flat, straight and square. This class has something for all Statler owners both new and experienced.

    • Quilting with the "Piece O' Grid" - The Computerized machines have taken quilting to a whole new level, now it is time to raise the bar. This product specific class will use the youngest member of the Pattern Grid family the “Piece O’Grid, to fine tune your custom work. Page will demonstrate creative techniques and show examples of how she has use the grid on EVERY award winning quilt she has done in the past two years. Page will explore many ways to enhance your quilting: audition designs, squaring, point to point placement in borders and edge to edge, free flowing design, crosshatch, setting scale, and accurate placement of floating motifs. You will marvel at the unlimited possibilities and the time you can save. Once you see how the grid pumps up your accuracy and imagination you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. The grid will quickly become your favorite studio tool.

    • Building Blocks to a Better Quilt - Digitized designs have given us an almost endless assortment of design to choose from. Selecting a design and making it fit a space can be a daunting and time consuming task. Page will demonstrate fast and easy techniques for blocks specific quilts. Double wedding rings, Square in a Square, Log Cabin are just a few of the blocks we’ll cover. Triangle tricks are great way to combine designs within a block. Learn how to stitch out more than one block at a time lay out and review designs, for the entire quilt, create design portfolios, Offer your customers the quality custom quilting they desire while spending less of your valuable time.

    • Custom Blocks as Easy as “Point and Click” - Page will share her secret to an award winning continuous line custom, which hits every block exactly. The secret is point to point Triangles. Learn how to create the design you want and fit it to each quilt. Your imagination will take off as you start to “see” the first, second and third elements of each design layout. The block designs appear perfect, as if you set each design in separately. Create high price custom quilting, in a fraction of the time. After all “Time is Money”.

    • Before You Quilt: Pattern Alteration - With the advances to Creative Studio we now have the power to alter a pattern to fit the space instead of “just plopping it in”. Follow Page as she shows you how she has tweaked some simple patterns to fit unusual spaces. Become comfortable with dividing, drawing and manipulating lines, reverse start and end, and exporting. It will become so easy we’ll never fret about finding a pattern that “fits” again.
