| How does a stitch-regulator work? | |||||||||||||
| Stitch-regulation gives the machine operator consistent stitch length, even when the machine isn't moved at a consistent speed. Stitch length
can be set from 8 to 12 SPI (Stitches Per Inch) from a display panel at either end of the machine. Encoders in the wheels tell the motor to speed up or slow down based on the operator's movement, thereby maintaining the stitch-length that's
been selected. So you needn't worry about your stitches getting too short if you slow down at a point, or too long if you speed up at a curve! | The price for our stitch-regulator retrofit is $3,500.00 plus round trip transportation. A machine that is a 1996 or earlier and has a Leeson brand motor will have to have its motor replaced at an additional cost of $250. For more details please contact us. | |||||||||||||
